Job description

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The store clerk shall be responsible for the security and the day-to-day storekeeping operations of the purchasing store of KPJ Ampang Puteri, which include receipt and supply of item purchase.

Responsibilities

• Receive all purchased goods.
• Store all goods purchased.
• File store documents in a systematic manner.
• Perform stock taking as required.
• Issue and supply the goods purchased.
• Take care of the security in all stocks kept in the store.
• Cooperate with employer or other persons in the discharge of duties.
• Take reasonable care at work for the safety of yourself and other persons.
• Wear or use protective equipment or clothing provided by the employer.
• Comply with any instruction or measure on occupational safety and health.
• Actively participate in all quality accreditation activities (e.g., JCI, MSQH, 5S – where applicable).
• Ensure all policies and procedures of ISO 9001:2008, ISO 14001:2004, OHSAS 18001:2007 are adhered to and records maintained.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety goals as recommended by the World Alliance for Patient Safety (2008).
• Ensure adherence to Standard People Practice (SPP).
• Work collaboratively with leaders, clinicians, staff, visitors and patients in the development and promotion of Planetree behaviors, environment and patient care solutions.
