MAP Active Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead end-to-end retail store fit-out projects. You will drive site assessment, design coordination, procurement, construction, and handover while managing timelines, budgets, and multi-disciplinary teams.

The role requires 5–10 years in project management with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity, plus strong vendor and stakeholder management in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, Project Management, or related field.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management, construction, retail fit-out, store development, or related functions, with at least 3 years in a managerial position.
• Strong knowledge of retail construction, budgeting, project planning, vendor management, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership experience managing cross-functional teams and multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilités

• Lead end-to-end retail store fit-out projects, including site assessment, design coordination, procurement, construction, and store handover.
• Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and key milestones to ensure on-schedule delivery and within budget.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions for smooth execution.
• Lead and manage project managers, contractors, vendors, consultants, and subcontractors for successful delivery.
• Coordinate approvals, permits, licenses, and compliance requirements to support project implementation.
• Prepare project status reports, KPIs, and progress updates for senior management and stakeholders.
