Job summary

Valiram, a Kuala Lumpur-based luxury retail group, is seeking a Store Leader to drive sales and profitability across its stores. You will implement sales strategies, mentor the team, and ensure compliance with Store SOPs while delivering exceptional customer experiences.

You will lead staffing, recruitment, and succession planning, maintaining top talent and a high-performance culture in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Total retail experience 5–7 years with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a related field (desirable) or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate, influence and negotiate effectively with all levels of leadership.

Responsibilities

• Drive store sales performance and implement product/sales strategies.
• Deliver a WOW customer experience following the 7 steps to WOW.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

1. Drive the Sales and maximize Profitability

• Manage and deliver store’s/outlet’s sales performance.
• Facilitate implementation of product/ sales strategies.
• Keep the team updated daily on Conversion Rate and Average Transaction Value with the team on regular basis. *Monthly Plan forecast.

2. Deliver WOW Experience

• Provide a unique and genuine customer experience that delights and engages every shopper by following the 7 steps to WOW.

3. Develop Team

• Instil Valiram's Entrepreneurial Spirit within the Team.
• Consistently demonstrate appreciation and encouragement.
• Maintain effective staffing with top performing team by actively networking, recruiting, hiring and succession planning.

4. Delivery Operations Excellence

• Execute and maintain compliance of Store SOP at all times.
• This includes Store Opening & Closing/ Cost Control/ Roster & Manpower Planning.
• Set up and maintain visual merchandising displays for promotional and seasonal activities. e.g. EOS, SASS.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5-7 years of total retail experience with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory role.
