Our Store Manager fulfills the role of ensuring our bakehouse becomes our community's habitual place for breads & pastries.

In this role, you are instrumental in leading a young operations service team in creating a sustainable dialogue about tactical empathy, anticipatory initiatives & genuine warmth.

You will be involved in ensuring our teams can keep up in a fast-paced environment, whilst ensuring morale is high. More than just being a service veteran, you must also possess a desire for leadership & management - where your foresight & composure is paramount to the team's success. You also aspire to change the industry for the better, paving career opportunities for those whose calling is in cookery in this modern age.

You will be working with peers across different business functions (marketing, finance, & management) in rolling out quarterly targets. You will be reporting directly to the management team. There is also career growth towards Partner capacity in our company.

Job Responsibilities

• Work with Store supervisors in managing day-to-day operations of our bakery.
• Maintain a fully-stocked inventory and order food supplies, as needed
• Manage dining reservations
• Arrange to have shifts covered (e.g. when employees take time off)
• Help staff resolve on-the-job challenges
• Track daily costs and revenues
• Balance the cash register at the end of the shift
• Coordinate with suppliers as they deliver food product orders
• Ensure client satisfaction and gracefully handle any complaints
• Open or close the restaurant (when responsible for the first or last shift)
• Inform the next Store Manager about pending tasks
• Report maintenance and training needs
