Job description

As a true Ambassador of the Maison Longchamp, you represent the brand’s image and its values of Energy, Authenticity, Team Spirit and Sustainability. You offer each customer a unique and personalized experience and pass on our values, our heritage, and our creativity.

You are responsible for the overall management of the point of sale. You ensure that sales objectives are achieved, manages the sales team and optimizes daily store operations.

Main responsibilities

• Be a true Ambassador of the Maison Longchamp: deploy the brand’s history, image and passion for Longchamp products and naturally convey this to clients and to the team, make sure each client receives an unforgettable shopping experience, keep the concession running smoothly in line with the brand’s image.
• Drive the team: lead the team by developing motivation, sense of belonging and involvement, ensure people collaborate, share information and work for the good of the team, understand and respect the values of Longchamp and pass them to the team.
• Increase sales according to the Longchamp strategy: maximize the business potential of the concession, set monthly sales targets with the help of your hierarchy, achieve the store and individual sales targets.
• Be the main contact for Stockmann: regularly discuss with Stockmann about news, events, sales forecasts or any other available information.

Main missions

• Maximize sales potential: drive sales through effective visual merchandising (with the help of the VM referent), ensure exceptional customer service and propose strategic sales initiatives, analyze sales performance and implement corrective actions.
• Develop the client base: drive the team to fully embrace a clienteling culture of building strong and long-term relationship with clients, ensure an efficient use of the CRM, maximize the existing customer and enlarge the new client base.
• Monitor stock organization and flow of merchandise: manage stocks, inventories and supplies.
• Team management: coach the staff on excellence in customer service in alignment with company standards, motivate, retain and evaluate the team. Recruit, train, and develop the team. Analyze and control the KPIs of the concession and implement necessary measures to improve performance and achieve sales objectives. Report any malfunction or problem encountered to your hierarchy. Respect equity between the staff.
• Maintain a clean and organized presentation of the store space: maintain the image of the concession, the back office and the stockroom, ensure the store is perfectly in line with the brand guidelines in terms of VM, appearance and atmosphere, respect company norms and procedures and adhere to security and health and safety regulations.
• Exceed all behavioral requirements: adhere to the grooming guidelines, always be informed on brand activities, locations, events and marketing activities, do all trainings on the Longchamp dedicated application. Collaborate with all the support function in the HQ.
• Master Longchamp’s tools and procedures: from the cash register to the CRM, through the training application, you master Longchamp’s tools and procedures. Understand, apply the company policies and procedures and ensure team members are informed accordingly.
