Job summary

TANJUNG MARINA GROUP SDN BHD is seeking a Store Clerk to assist in daily store and warehouse operations. You will ensure all goods are checked, recorded, arranged and monitored, while preparing Delivery Orders and maintaining stock records.

Applicants should have basic knowledge of stock control, inventory management, DO/PO/GRN and Excel. The role requires accuracy, independence and teamwork in a physically active environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in storekeeping, warehouse or inventory management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Familiar with DO, PO and GRN documentation.
• Basic computer skills, especially Excel.
• Responsible, hardworking, disciplined and able to work independently.
• Able to perform physical stock checking and warehouse-related tasks.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods from suppliers and delivery personnel.
• Verify received goods against PO, supplier invoices, DO and other documents.
• Identify shortages, excess, damaged, expired or incorrect items received.
• Ensure all received goods are recorded in the stock receiving system and inventory records.
• Check and verify goods before releasing them from the store or warehouse.
• Ensure outgoing goods are supported by DO, Stock Requisition or other documents.
• Prepare and issue DO based on SO and delivery instructions.
• Maintain accurate daily stock records for all incoming and outgoing goods.
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock checking as instructed.

Job description

To assist in daily store and warehouse operations by ensuring all incoming and outgoing goods are properly checked, recorded, arranged and monitored. The Store Clerk is responsible for preparing Delivery Orders (DO), maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring proper documentation and stock control procedures are followed.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all incoming goods from suppliers, vendors and delivery personnel
• Verify received goods against Purchase Order (PO), supplier invoices, Delivery Order (DO) and other relevant documents
• Identify and report any shortage, excess, damaged, expired or incorrect items received
• Ensure all received goods are properly recorded in the stock receiving system or inventory records
• Check and verify all goods before releasing them from the store or warehouse
• Ensure all outgoing goods are supported by approved DO, Stock Requisition or other relevant documents
• Prepare and issue Delivery Orders (DO) based on approved Sales Orders (SO) and delivery instructions
• Maintain accurate daily stock records for all incoming and outgoing goods
• Conduct daily, weekly and monthly stock checking as instructed

About you

• Previous experience in storekeeping, warehouse or inventory management is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of stock control and inventory management.
• Familiar with Delivery Order (DO), Purchase Order (PO) and Goods Received Note (GRN).
• Basic computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
