Job Description: Ideal Global Corporation Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Store Associate to join our DIY 1 Utama department within the banking industry. This role requires a motivated individual with 1 to 5 years of experience in store operations, accounting, and management. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth daily store functions, maintaining accurate financial records, and delivering exceptional customer service. This position demands a detail-oriented professional capable of managing inventory, supporting sales activities, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to uphold the company’s standards and operational excellence.

Main Responsibilities

• Manage daily store operations including opening and closing procedures to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Maintain accurate store accounting records, including cash handling, transaction reconciliation, and reporting discrepancies promptly.
• Assist in inventory management by conducting regular stock counts, monitoring stock levels, and coordinating with suppliers for timely replenishment.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.
• Support merchandising activities by organizing product displays and ensuring promotional materials are up to date and compliant with brand guidelines.
• Collaborate with the store management team to implement operational improvements and achieve sales targets.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and security standards within the store environment.
• Train and mentor junior staff members to enhance team performance and operational efficiency.
• Utilize store management software to track sales, inventory, and customer data accurately.
• Prepare and submit daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports to senior management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field.
• 1 to 5 years of proven experience in store operations, preferably within a retail or banking-related environment.
• Strong understanding of store accounting principles and inventory control processes.
• Proficiency in using retail management and accounting software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to store operations.

Required Education

• High School Diploma/General Education, Technical Diploma/Technical Course, Associate's Degree/College Diploma, Non-Degree Program, Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree and experience between 1 - 5 years
