Job summary

Sheraton Hotels & Resorts Kuala Lumpur is seeking a non-management Steward for a full-time role.

Direct and assist stewards to improve cleanup efficiency, operate dishwashing and other equipment, and support banquet and kitchen staff with essential supplies. Education: high school diploma or GED; 2+ years related experience and at least 1 year in supervision are preferred. The role requires physical stamina and a commitment to safety and guest service.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assist Stewards to make clean up more efficient.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment and tools, including the dish washing machine, hand wash stations pot-scrubbing station, and trash compactor.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.
