Job summary

Maukerja Malaysia at Genting Highlands is seeking a diligent Kitchen Steward/Dishwasher to support daily kitchen operations. The role involves washing all soil dishes, supplying clean plates for use, and maintaining dish and pot washing machines in a clean, polished condition.

You will assist with inventory, clear waste in the kitchen, and report any breakages or machine faults to your supervisor. Daily duties revolve around ensuring hygiene and smooth operation.

Qualifications

• Washing all soil dishes in the dishwashing area.
• Supplying clean plates for operational use.
• Maintaining dish and pot washing machines in clean condition.
• Clearing all waste items from the kitchen area.

Responsibilities

• Assist floor steward in doing inventory, pick-up stock and re-arranging chinaware.
• Clean kitchen and stewarding equipments.
• Do weekly outlet cleaning as per schedule by superior.
• Do soaking items as per schedule by superior.
• Report breakages and incidents to superior in the kitchen.
• Report any machine breakdown or faulty for rectification.
• Carry out daily assignments required during operation hours.
• Indicate breakages in the breakages book if any occur.
