Job summary

TYS Engineering Sdn. Bhd is seeking a Steel Structure Supervisor / Fabrication Coordinator in Johor Bahru to manage fabrication coordination, material calculation, workshop arrangement and site coordination.

You will read drawings, perform material take-offs, coordinate workshop and site activities, monitor progress, and report to management. Experience in steel structure/fabrication and ability to work under pressure are required; AutoCAD familiarity is a plus.

• Able to calculate material independently.
• Understand fabrication flow and site works.
• Able to coordinate workers and subcon independently.

We are a steel structure engineering company looking for an experienced and responsible person to handle fabrication coordination, material calculation, workshop arrangement, and site coordination.

Responsibilities:

Read and understand steel structure drawings

Material calculation / material take off

Coordinate fabrication & installation works

Follow up workshop progress and delivery schedule

Coordinate workers, subcon, and site matters

Monitor project progress and work quality

Ensure works are carried out according to drawings and requirements

Report project/site progress and issues to management

Requirements:

Experience in steel structure / fabrication industry

Able to calculate material independently

Understand fabrication flow and site works

Able to coordinate workers and subcon independently

Advantage:

Able to understand AutoCAD / fabrication drawings
