Job summary

GE Vernova in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Core Services ITR Engineer to support APAC region tendering and execution of steam turbine service projects and outages, providing customer-facing engineering guidance across all phases of the ITR process.

You will work with ITR Managers, Sales Managers and Outage Managers, coordinate with the Global Repair Network & Sourcing to determine costs, and ensure compliance with design standards, processes, schedules, and budgets.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Engineering with at least 5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience with steam turbine outage planning, inspections, overhauls and repairs.
• Strong project management, time management and cost control skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary technical lead during ITR tendering and execution phases, including scope, BOM, RFQ review, and risk identification.
• Escalate issues and drive corrective actions between field and design engineering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams and support outage planning and optimization for the regional fleet.
• Support technology transfer to Onsite/Field Services networks and regional teams.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers and contribute to improvements in maintenance procedures.
