Job summary

AL7579 GE Power Solutions (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an HD Services Application Engineering Technical Leader to coordinate with Sales for CM&U upgrade proposals across Asia, including gas turbines, steam turbines, generators and BOP upgrades.

The role requires owning the RAE deliverables, defining holistic plant-wide upgrade solutions, managing technical interfaces, and leading customer technical discussions during ITO and OTR phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in mechanical engineering with strong fundamentals.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Experience interfacing with customers and regional sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Define best gas turbine/combined cycle upgrade solutions to meet KPIs during ITO.
• Own and manage deliverables of the RAE team from techno-commercial perspective.
• Lead technical discussions with customers and be the single point of contact.
• Assess impact of upgrades on downstream equipment and feasibility reports.
• Interface with engineering to assess retrofitting possibilities and scope changes.
• Champion LEAN principles and drive continuous improvement in ITO engineering.
