Job summary

KOSSAN GROUP – Perusahaan Getah Asas Sdn Bhd. is seeking a Boiler Operator to ensure efficient steam boiler operation and continuous steam supply to production. You will perform troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, water treatment, and daily checks in a high-volume manufacturing setting.

Qualifications include a Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and a Boilerman Grade 2 certificate. 1–2+ years of boiler operation experience is preferred; strong problem-solving and independent work

Qualifications

Diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Engineering or equivalent from an accredited college.
Competency certificate in Boilerman Grade 2 by DOSH is required.
Experience in operating, maintaining and repairing fire-tube steam boilers is preferred.

Responsibilities

Ensure steam boiler runs efficiently and provides continuous steam to production.
Rectify and troubleshoot boiler issues.
Perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on boilers.
Conduct water chemical treatment program for boiler system.
Complete daily operation checklist.
Coordinate with water chemical treatment engineer.
Maintain production hot water tank system.
Manage hand tools and spare parts.
Maintain good housekeeping at the workplace.
Perform any other duties assigned by supervisor or management.
