Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Test Operations Engineer to optimize post-manufacturing test activities across Asia. You will interface with product groups and cross-functional teams to track lots, releases, and equipment uptime, driving improvements in OEE and yield.

You will lead test capacity expansions and deploy new tester technologies, while ensuring robust problem solving and collaboration with global sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computing or related engineering discipline.
• Preferable with >7 years in High Volume Semiconductor Test Manufacturing or Test Product Engineering.
• Strong understanding of product knowledge & test methodology of analog/digital/power products, failure analysis.
• Experience with major ATE tester platforms (Teradyne, Advantest, SPEA, Cohu) and test handlers/probers.
• Excellent problem-solving ability (8D, Why-Why Analysis).
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills to interact across levels.
• Strong project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Interface Test Operations with Renesas Product Groups and other functions across US, Japan, India, Malaysia, China.
• Execute daily test operations with internal factories and OSATs to ensure delivery fulfillment.
• Coordinate transfer from New Product Introduction to High Volume Manufacturing.
• Execute new test capacity expansions to meet production demand.
• Deploy new tester/handler technology and test solutions to sites.
• Implement best known practices within test sites.
• Drive Gross Margins (OEE, yield, retest) improvements.
