Job summary

AMD in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a hands-on engineer who can write a Vue front end, tune Kubernetes deployments, and debug Jenkins stages. You will design and maintain internal web apps and dashboards with Python back ends, expose data via REST APIs, and own CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong Python, Vue, Docker, Kubernetes experience, plus Azure, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB in production. Excellent English communication, proactive teamwork, and a drive for continuous improvement are

Qualifications

• Proficient Python development with REST API design.
• Vue frontend development and delivering usable internal tools.
• Strong CI/CD experience with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Docker and Kubernetes production experience with manifests and Helm.
• Azure cloud experience including VM provisioning and cost control.
• Production-grade PostgreSQL and MongoDB maintenance.
• Experience applying AI tooling in engineering workflows is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web apps and dashboards using Python and Vue.
• Own CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy to Kubernetes.
• Provision and manage Azure cloud and lab infrastructure.
• Design and administer PostgreSQL and MongoDB data stores.
• Integrate AI tooling to improve engineering productivity.
• Instrument observability with logging, metrics, and alerts.
• Debug root causes across stack from browser to cloud.
• Collaborate with validation, firmware, and software teams.
