Job summary

AMD in Penang is seeking a hands-on engineer who can design, build, and maintain internal web applications and dashboards with Python back ends and Vue front ends. You’ll expose data via REST APIs, own CI/CD pipelines, containerize services with Docker, and deploy on Kubernetes.

You will provision Azure infrastructure and manage PostgreSQL and MongoDB, with a focus on observability and automation. You will collaborate with validation, firmware, and software teams to improve platform capabilities

Qualifications

• Hands-on engineer capable of Vue frontend, Kubernetes deployment, and Jenkins debugging.
• Experience building internal web apps and dashboards using Python back ends and Vue, HTML, CSS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal web applications and dashboards using Python back ends and Vue, HTML, and CSS front ends, exposing data through REST APIs
• Own CI/CD across the team: GitHub Actions and Jenkins pipelines, release automation, artifact management, and quality gates
• Containerize services with Docker and deploy on Kubernetes
• Provision and manage Azure infrastructure, including VM fleets, networking, storage, and cost optimization
• Design and administer data stores — PostgreSQL and MongoDB, including schema design and maintenance
• Integrate AI tooling into workflows and automate routine tasks
• Instrument systems for observability and drive MTTR down
• Debug and root-cause issues across stack
• Collaborate with validation, firmware, and software teams to build durable platform capabilities
