Renesas Electronics is seeking a Staff Product Testing Engineer in Ipoh, Malaysia, on-site. You will interface with cross-functional teams across the product life cycle to drive yield enhancement, reduce test costs, and ensure quality and manufacturability of devices.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering and 7 years’ experience in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, with strong test methodology knowledge and data analysis skills (JMP/Spotfire).

Qualificações

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field.
• 7 years in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing, preferably in test engineering.
• Strong knowledge of analog/digital/power test methods and RCA.
• Proficiency in JMP and Spotfire for data analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Review and disposition on low-yield production lots; drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with test engineering, assembly, quality, internal factory and OSAT to resolve issues.
• Execute day-to-day sustaining activities to ensure delivery fulfillment.
• Qualify and validate new products; migrate tester platforms; perform related engineering tasks.
• Support gross margin initiatives through yield improvement efforts.
