Job summary

AMD is seeking a highly motivated Member of Technical Staff (MTS), Post-Silicon Electrical Validation Engineer to join the Server Compute and Enterprise AI Validation team.

In this role, you will be responsible for validating and characterizing high-speed I/O interfaces on AMD Datacenter Server and AI platforms, ensuring robust performance, interoperability, and product quality from silicon bring-up through production release.

Qualifications

• Experience in post-silicon validation and electrical characterization.
• Knowledge of high-speed interfaces and protocols such as PCIe, Ethernet, DDR, LPDDR.
• Experience with high-speed measurement and debug equipment such as oscilloscopes and VNAs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute post-silicon validation plans for high-speed I/O interfaces including PCIe, xGMI, UALink, IFoE, UCIe, and memory technologies.
• Perform hands-on measurements and analysis using lab equipment to characterize interfaces.
• Develop automation frameworks and test scripts to improve validation efficiency.
• Collaborate with silicon design, architecture, signal integrity, platform, BIOS, firmware, and software teams to drive readiness.
