Qualifications

• Valid nursing license and registration with the relevant nursing board.
• At least 2 years of experience as a Staff Nurse in a healthcare setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.

About the role

Asia Eye Specialist Centre is seeking an experienced staff nurse to join our team at Serdang. This full-time role will play a crucial part in providing exceptional patient care at our healthcare facility. As a Staff Nurse, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing services to our patients while adhering to the highest standards of medical practice.

What you'll be doing

Providing direct patient care, including administering medication, monitoring vital signs, and assisting with daily living activities

Collaborating with the medical team to develop and implement individualised care plans for patients

Documenting patient information and maintaining accurate medical records

Assisting with the admission and discharge of patients

Maintaining a safe, clean, and well-organised work environment

Participating in continuing education and professional development activities

Carry out simple vision tests for patients, assisting in monitoring eye dilation status

Assisting ophthalmologist during operation/ minor procedure in the treatment room and operation theatre

Gather all equipment needed for the patient's appointment to be ready for the clinical staff or doctor to use.

Ensure that all used equipment is sent for sterilization.

What we're looking for
