Job summary

iSurgeon Eye Specialist Centre in Butterworth, Malaysia is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our nursing staff. You will care for patients, maintain accurate records, administer medication, monitor for side effects, and support in the operating theatre.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Nursing, is fully registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board, has APC, and can communicate well in English and Malay. Training will be provided, and some experience in OT or eye care is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma in nursing.
• Full registration with Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Latest APC (Annual Practicing Certificate).
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, doctors and clinic staff.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional, friendly attitude.
• Experience in operating room or eye care, CPR/BLS certification is an added advantage.
• Ability to speak and write in English and Malay; Mandarin and/or local dialects an added advantage.
• Training will be provided especially in OT setting.

Responsibilities

Your duty of caring for the patients coming into our facility include tasks like creating and maintaining accurate patient records, administering medication and monitoring for side effects, recording vital signs, and reporting symptoms and changes in patient conditions and assisting in OT.
