Job summary

Prince Court Medical Centre Sdn Bhd, a 300-bed private healthcare facility in the heart of Kuala Lumpur, is seeking an experienced Inpatient Staff Nurse. You will assess and deliver individualized nursing care, monitor patient conditions, and lead junior staff within a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, effective handovers, and active involvement of patients and families in discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in related field.
• Post Basic qualification and BLS certification will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualised nursing care based on patients' needs.
• Monitor and reassess patients' conditions and adjust care accordingly.
• Lead and support the nursing team, including coaching junior staff.
• Assist the Nurse Manager in managing the team effectively.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Involve patients and families in nursing care and discharge planning.
• Perform treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians safely and accurately.
• Provide competent nursing care based on evidence-based practices.
• Conduct effective clinical handovers using BAR.
• Check medical equipment before use and ensure proper functioning.
