Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care based on patients’ needs.
• Monitor and reassess patients’ conditions and adjust care accordingly.
• Lead and support the nursing team, including coaching junior staff.
• Assist the Nurse Manager in managing the team effectively.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans and evaluate patient outcomes.
• Involve patients and families in nursing care and discharge planning.
• Perform treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians safely and accurately.
• Provide competent nursing care based on evidence-based practices.
• Conduct effective clinical handovers using BAR.
• Check medical equipment before use and ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and comply with infection control requirements.
• Accurately document patient assessments, care, progress and communication with physicians.
• Provide respectful, non-discriminatory care while protecting patients’ dignity, rights and privacy.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies, IPSGs/MPSGs, MOH regulations, MSQH standards and professional nursing standards.
