Job summary

Prince Court Medical Centre Sdn Bhd invites an experienced Nursing Leader to oversee clinical and administrative operations in the Inpatient Wards. You will ensure safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in line with hospital policies, standards and MOH regulations, and provide clinical leadership to the nursing team.

The role requires a Bachelor/Master in Nursing, registration with the Malaysian Nursing Board, a valid Annual Practising Certificate, and substantial leadership experience,

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree and/or Master in Nursing is preferred.
• Registered with Malaysian Nursing Board.
• Valid Annual Practicing Certificate.
• Post Basic certificate in related area.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the relevant specialty.
• At least 4 years of supervisory/ precepting/ mentoring/ team leader experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize patient needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage clinical and administrative operations in the Inpatient Wards.
• Ensure safe, quality and patient-centred nursing care in line with hospital policies, standards and regulations.
• Maintain high nursing care and professional standards through effective supervision and coaching of staff.
• Plan and manage manpower, staff development and training needs.
• Implement and monitor evidence-based nursing practices.
• Monitor nursing documentation, patient assessments, care plans and discharge plans.
• Provide clinical leadership, guidance and support to the nursing team.
• Ensure staff are appropriately assigned according to patient needs and staff competency.
• Manage and resolve operational issues through effective clinical judgement and decision-making.
• Conduct and monitor nursing audits and continuous quality improvement activities.
• Ensure effective use of resources and support efficient ward operations.
• Promote teamwork and collaboration with doctors and other healthcare professionals.
• Ensure compliance with MOH regulations, MSQH standards, IPSGs/MPSGs and professional nursing standards.
• Uphold and demonstrate PCMC values and culture.
