Avisena Specialist Hospital is seeking a skilled Cardiac Nurse (CCV) to provide evidence-based care in the diagnostic and intervention setting at our Shah Alam facility. You will support the Cardiologist in angiography and angioplasty within the invasive cardiac laboratory, ensuring high standards of patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Cardiovascular Nurse (CCV) required.
• Experience in Interventional Cardiology required.
• Experience in cardiac and vascular knowledge including procedural techniques.
• Critical thinking and rapid response to emergencies required.
• ACLS Certification and invasive procedure skills required.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care for patients in the diagnostic and intervention setting.
• Be accountable for quality of service including customer service and technical aspects.
• Assist Cardiologist in Angiogram and Angioplasty in the Cath Lab when required.
• Follow doctors/consultants and assist in procedures as needed.
• Maintain professionalism, accuracy and timeliness in all duties.

Duties & Responsibilities:

This position reports directly to the Manager of Department

The staff Cardiac Nurse uses evidence-based practice to provide quality nursing care for patients in the diagnostic and intervention setting.

The nurse is knowledgeable in meeting the physical, psychological, cultural, and educational needs of patients. Be accountable for quality of the service provided, including customer service and technical aspect.

They may contribute in intervention procedures, patient care and assist Cardiologist in Angiogram and Angioplasty at Invasive Cardiac Laboratory (CATH LAB).

This position also requires individuals who are not only friendly and helpful to patients, physicians and staff, but also have a high degree of professionalism, accuracy and timeliness.

Requirements:

Certified Cardiovascular Nurse (CCV)

Experience in Interventional Cardiology.

Experience in cardiac and vascular knowledge including procedural techniques.

Critical thinking decision making and rapid response to emergencies.

ACLS Certification and invasive procedure skills.

Experience in critical care, cardiac nursing or cath - lab related settings.

Adheres to all policies and procedures, Nursing Standard and Code of Ethics.

Demonstrate knowledge of principles, method, and technique of performing standard nursing practice.

Work on shift and on-call duties and deliver standards in the quality of care.

Received the daily report of every patient, know the case in details, progress the patient, ensure all orders before her/his shift has been carried or which to take over and encounter any incidents or problems.

Follow doctors/consultants and assist them in doing procedure when required
