Sandisk is seeking a highly skilled Staff Engineer to lead our memory storage test solutions in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment. You will shape test strategies, optimize test programs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product performance and quality.

The role demands strong technical foundations in memory/semiconductor test, hands-on experience with ATE platforms, and a passion for cost-efficient innovations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in semiconductor product or test engineering.
• Strong technical foundation in test engineering for memory or semiconductor devices within High Volume Manufacturing (HVM).
• Proficient in problem-solving methodologies such as FMEA, DMAIC, and Fishbone analysis, as well as statistical tools including SPC, SBL, and SYL.
• Solid understanding of network IP integration, communication protocols, and tester connectivity across distributed environments.
• Proven hands-on experience with ATE test platform operation, setup, correlation, and troubleshooting for yield and test efficiency improvement.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary owner for product performance in High Volume Manufacturing.
• Design and implement efficient test plans to meet factory goals, optimizing test time and costs.
• Lead and deploy innovative engineering solutions with cross-functional teams.
• Drive cost efficiency through Test Time Reduction and new test platforms.
• Provide EFA analysis and deliver actionable reports to stakeholders.
• Develop clear technical reports and documentation, including work instructions and test specifications.
• Co-lead NPI projects ensuring smooth transfer to mass production.
• Mentor junior engineers and promote knowledge transfer.
