Job summary

Power Integrations in Malaysia is seeking an Equipment Engineer to maintain and optimize manufacturing and test equipment, ensuring high uptime and process performance.

You will troubleshoot, perform preventive maintenance, lead root cause analysis, and collaborate with test, product, and quality teams to improve yield and reliability. The role requires hands-on work in a manufacturing environment and strong data analysis to drive continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronics, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in semiconductor/manufacturing environments.
• Experience with ATE and test handlers preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve manufacturing/test equipment to maximize uptime.
• Perform preventive maintenance and calibration activities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve equipment breakdowns promptly.
• Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Drive equipment optimization to improve yield and efficiency.
• Support installation, qualification, and commissioning of new equipment.
