Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is hiring a Staff Engineer Test Development to bridge automotive quality standards with our volume manufacturing site in Malaysia. You will develop and enhance test packages for power discrete products, support BE final test programs transfer, and drive test flow strategies for automotive standards within global project teams.

The role requires a degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, 5+ years in power discrete test development, expertise in power test

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering or a comparable major.
• >5 years of working experience in power discrete test development within the semiconductor industry.
• Expertise in power test platforms (e.g., IPTest or similar) is preferred, as well as know-how in C/C++ programming experience.
• Strong technical background in Power Devices (IGBT; MOSFET...) and analog/mixed signal testing.

Responsibilities

• Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power discrete products with focus on Wide Bandgap technologies.
• Develop and support the transfer and generation of BE final test programs.
• Shape the strategy of Test Flows for Automotive standards.
• Standardize and harmonize workflows for higher efficiency.
• Lead test-related work packages within international project teams.

As a Staff Engineer Test Development in our Research & Development team, you will be the bridging the high quality standards and requirements of Automotive customers and our volume operational site in Malaysia.

• Develop new and enhance existing test packages (test cell, test hardware, test program) for power discrete products with focus on Wide Bandgap (WBG) technologies
• Develop and support the transfer and generation of BE final test programs
• Charpen the strategy of Test Flows for Automotive standards
• Standardize and Harmonize the work flows towards higher efficiency
• Work within International Project Teams and lead test related work packages

Your profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical and electronic engineering or a comparable major
• >5 years of working experience in power discrete test development within the semiconductor industry
• Expertise in power test platforms (e.g., IPTest or similar) is preferred, as well as know-how in C/C++ programming experience
• Strong technical background in Power Devices (IGBT; MOSFET...)
• Skills in analog or mixed signal electronic circuit, test program coding and debugging
• Technical driving skills, result oriented behavior and strong communication skills within global teams are a must
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Fluent English skills
