Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer for a high-volume semiconductor SMT environment in Melaka. You will lead yield optimization, drive change management, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve assembly processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in semiconductor/SMT, strong data analysis skills, and hands-on experience with ASM equipment, reflow ovens, AOI systems, and related tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in high-volume semiconductor assembly or SMT manufacturing.
• Strong command of 8D problem solving, SPC, and FMEA.
• Proficient in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data presentation.
• Experience with ASM equipment, BTU/Heller ovens, and Koh Young AOI systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead process improvement initiatives to maximize assembly yield and minimize cycle time for lots on hold.
• Take ownership of quality topics, including customer complaint investigations, MRB dispositions, and Assembly & Test lot on-hold resolutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to support project teams, facilitating smooth project releases and robust change management.
• Partner with cross-functional engineering teams to implement root-cause solutions and drive continuous improvement on the manufacturing floor.
