Job summary

SMT Technologies Sdn Bhd in Kedah invites an experienced engineer to lead PCBA process design and control. You will drive yield and quality improvements, monitor production, and coordinate line setups for new products.

The role requires a Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, at least 3 years in the field, and strong English communication. Familiarity with SMT, COB/BGA/PoP assemblies and NPI is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Advanced Diploma or Bachelor's in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3+ years of working experience in the related field.
• Experience with PCBA, SMT, Wave Soldering and Box Build.
• Knowledge of COB, BGA, CSP, PoP assemblies and related rework/underfill is a plus.
• Line Set up, NPI Process and Product transfer knowledge is a plus.
• Good communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Design & control PCBA processes.
• Drive yields and quality improvements.
• Monitor production; recommend material/process/labor changes.
• Coordinate for new lines setup and process changes.
• Responsible for machine utilization and downtime improvement.
• Process improvement & line balancing for new and existing products.
• Develop work instructions and process control plans.
• Prototype runs and drive improvements before mass production.
• Maintain and troubleshoot production-line issues.
