Infineon Technologies is seeking an experienced Product Engineer to support field returns and production deviation assessment. You will coordinate failure analysis and steer special lot clearance while driving cost reductions and yield improvements across multiple sites.

The role demands strong analytical skills, problem solving, and the ability to communicate effectively within a diverse, matrix organization and with external stakeholders globally.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s or higher engineering degree in Electrical / Electronics / Physics / Microelectronics / Semiconductor Technology or related field.
• PhD would be a plus with industry experience in product engineering.

Aufgaben

• Support and drive assessment of field returns and production deviations, coordinating failure analysis and technical interpretation.
• Take responsibility for special lot clearance and actively manage associated risks.
• Identify and drive cost reduction potentials for released products, e.g. through reduction of test costs and evaluating technical implications.
• Responsible for yield optimization for released products across frontend and backend production sites.
• Become an expert in statistical data evaluation and pursue continual improvement of methods and tooling for the product engineering team.
• Align technical evaluations and decisions with cross-functional stakeholders in an international, multicultural environment.
