Job summary

Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. in Krubong, Melaka invites applications for a Staff Engineer, Backend Engineering to help establish a standard Process Control Engineering methodology and set up the platform for backend process engineering skills development.

You will support backend operations on quality, yield, efficiency and cost improvements, and participate in benchmarking across factories to drive defect elimination in MRB and CCAR.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of materials, equipment, and semiconductor manufacturing processes.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
• Excellent planning and execution capabilities.
• Proficient in analytical thinking and problem-solving.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Fluent in spoken Mandarin for serving Mandarin-speaking customers.

Responsibilities

• To establish a standard Process Control Engineering methodology among the backend facilities.
• To set up the platform for backend Process Engineering skills development.
• To support backend operation entities on improvement activities of quality, yield, efficiency, cost.
• To facilitate the benchmarking process across factories and subcon and drive to eliminate critical defect in MRB and CCAR.
