Job summary

Coherent Corp. Malaysia in Ipoh is seeking a testing and quality professional to implement and maintain SPC systems for module testers, monitor process performance, and analyze failures to drive improvements.

You will develop and maintain SPC tools using JMP, Minitab, Python, and Excel, work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality to apply corrective actions, and ensure data integrity and proper tester setup in a 100% onsite environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of relevant SPC, manufacturing, test engineering, quality, or data analysis experience.
• Experience with JMP, Minitab, Python, or Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain ATC software and SPC webpage, including data processing and monitoring.
• Analyze testing failures, process deviations, defects, and yield losses.

• Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain SPC procedures, control plans, work instructions, and audit documentation.
• Support NPI activities, process validation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ensure proper tester setup, maintenance, controls, and data integrity.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities
