Job summary

STARTRADER is seeking a hands-on HR professional to drive talent acquisition and HR operations across regional markets in Kuala Lumpur. You will manage end-to-end recruitment, partner with hiring managers, and help develop effective hiring strategies while maintaining data-driven dashboards.

In HR operations, you will assist with policy updates, employee records, payroll, and day-to-day regional HR inquiries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Admin, or related field.
• 2–3 years HR experience with recruitment exposure.
• Proficient in English and Chinese; MS Office.

Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition (50%)

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes across regional markets, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, and offer management.
• Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, role requirements, and workforce planning to develop effective recruitment strategies.
• Utilize various sourcing channels (LinkedIn, job portals, referrals, Boolean search, etc.) to attract quality candidates.
• Coordinate interviews, consolidate feedback, support salary benchmarking, handle approvals, and drive offer negotiations to successfully close top talent.
• Maintain recruitment trackers, reports, and hiring analytics to support decision-making.
• Support employer branding initiatives and talent pipeline development to strengthen the market presence.

HR Operation (50%)

• Assist in reviewing and updating HR policies, SOPs, and internal documentation to ensure compliance with company standards and local labour regulations.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records within HRIS systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with best practices.
• Assist in managing end-to-end payroll processes for regional teams, ensuring accuracy, regulatory compliance, and timely salary disbursement.
• Serve as a point of contact for internal stakeholders on HR-related inquiries, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across the region.

Skills & Requirement:

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 2–3 years of HR experience, with strong exposure to recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and general Windows environment.
• Experience with regional or multi-country hiring is a plus.
• Familiarity with sourcing tools, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and LinkedIn recruitment best practices.
• Strong communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Proficiency in English and Chinese; additional languages are an advantage.
