Job summary

Atomic Recruitment SEA is seeking an experienced Energy Manager in Malaysia to drive energy efficiency initiatives, monitor performance, and ensure regulatory compliance with Suruhanjaya Tenaga.

You will develop strategies, conduct audits, support EnMS implementations (ISO 50001), and coordinate with engineers and operators to deliver measurable energy savings.

The role requires a ST-registered energy management competency, a relevant engineering degree, and strong analytical and reporting skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Energy Engineering.
• Valid ST-registered energy management competency certificate (REM).
• Experience in energy management, energy efficiency, audits.
• Knowledge of energy regulations and ISO 50001.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement energy management strategies to improve energy efficiency.
• Monitor and report energy usage and savings opportunities.
• Conduct or coordinate energy audits and recommend measures.
• Support EnMS implementation and ISO 50001 where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with energy regulations and ST requirements.
• Review energy performance of electrical and M&E systems.
• Prepare energy reports and technical recommendations for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and contractors to implement improvements.
• Track effectiveness of energy-saving initiatives and drive continuous improvement.
