Job summary

Sandisk in Penang is seeking an experienced SSD Production Supervisor to oversee the SSD production and test operations. You will lead the Operators Team, align production priorities with engineering, and drive continuous improvement across 6S, quality programs, and data-driven decisions.

Candidates should have prior manufacturing leadership, knowledge of SSD processes, and familiarity with MES/SAP. The role may require night shifts and collaboration with IR 4.0 initiatives.

Qualifications

• Supervisory/management experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of SSD manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Familiarity with MES system, SAP, and SPC is advantageous.
• Strong data analysis skills and Excel proficiency.
• Excellent written and spoken communication.
• Able to support night shifts.
• Knowledge of IR 4.0/5.0 concepts.
• Familiar with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT).

Responsibilities

• Lead SSD production operations and test operations.
• Communicate priorities and shift status to meet objectives.
• Coach and develop operators; manage performance.
• Plan workforce and resources; ensure 6S and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve issues and drive improvements.
• Audit activities for compliance with SOPs.
• Support IR 4.0/5.0 initiatives and digital manufacturing.
