Micron Technology, Inc. is seeking a Quality Engineer at our Malaysia (Penang) SSD lab. The role focuses on preparing for new product launches, including setup of test stations, firmware validation, and training package creation in Workday.

You will also support high-volume production, reliability testing, and defect analysis to ensure product quality. The engineer will coordinate tester transfers, develop test scripts, and monitor reliability for datacenter and client SSDs, producing regular

• Coordinate new testers transfer and setup in NVMQRA SSD Lab
• Setup required tester and test script to initiate ongoing reliability testing
• Monitor the ongoing and outgoing reliability performance of datacenter and client SSD products
• Compile regular reliability reports for customer review
• Provide electrical failure analysis supports
• Coordinate the overall failure analysis flow including EFA, FW/HW verification. Pursue risk assessment, root cause and CAPA validation.
• Maintain traceability of failure, replicate and validate the failure, perform first level EFA
• Update FA status in Jira, chair FA meeting to drive for path forward
• Coordinate root cause findings and determine corrective action
• Monitor monthly turn-around time and coordinate yearly physical inventory count
• Master ORT operation, collaborate with GEL to setup and sustain testers/chambers
• Plan and optimize ORT test capacity and monitor monthly sampling
• Accomplish AI projects using Python and related tools; monitor ORT test status
• Maintain testers connections
