Job summary

SanDisk in Malaysia (Penang) seeks an engineer to support SSD test development and manufacturing with a focus on NVMe/SATA products. You will contribute to validation, failure analysis, and yield improvements while collaborating with design, process, validation and reliability teams.

The role requires a degree in Microelectronics or related field, strong C/C++ and Python skills, plus English communication. You will work with contract manufacturers and R&D to ensure robust, high-volume test

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Microelectronics, Electronics/Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or Materials Science.

Responsibilities

• SSD test program validation, failure analysis, cost reduction and yield improvements.
• Provide NPI and HVM production support for SSD test development and manufacturing flow improvements.
• Engineering support for SSD products after transition from design to high volume production.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to develop HVM-friendly manufacturing test processes.
