Job summary

Sandisk in Penang, Malaysia seeks a Production Support Engineer to manage product family support after transfer to high-volume manufacturing. You will work with design, process, test, and reliability teams to identify issues and drive improvements in cost, yield, and test strategies.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, experience in semiconductor testing, and strong CMOS knowledge. Proficiency in Python/SQL/C++/Java is beneficial.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering or related field.
• Experience in semiconductor testing and/or product engineering.
• Strong knowledge of CMOS and electronic circuits; experience with Flash Memories (NAND or NOR) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage production support engineering for specific products or product families after transfer to high-volume manufacturing.
• Interface with design, process, test, and reliability engineering teams to identify and resolve issues.
• Sustain and improve existing products through cost reduction and yield enhancement.
• Plan and execute product evaluation and DOE focused on reliability and yield improvement.
• Develop and implement test strategies to enable rapid ramp-up of new products to high-volume manufacturing.
