Job summary

Job Summary

Our Production team needs a Production Quality Engineer to collect quality metrics for products and apply design feedback for manufacturing, product quality improvement, post‑sales quality, services support, and customer satisfaction. The role is primarily responsible for quality functions covering supply chain, incoming quality, in‑house manufacturing quality, product reliability, and performance quality. The Engineer will work with senior management of global production operations to establish quality‑focused teams, mandate standard quality practices, and oversee all global operations sites.

Responsibilities
  • Review and adhere to all company policies as outlined in the latest revision of the Employee Handbook.
  • Conduct comprehensive quality issue analysis and generate thorough Failure Analysis (FA) reports from a quality perspective.
  • Demonstrate strong quality assurance capabilities, evaluating material data sheets and ensuring adherence to specified criteria.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve and sustain superior product quality.
  • Facilitate clear communication across cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless information exchange and problem‑solving.
  • Oversee creation, collection, analysis, and secure traceability of quality data, maintaining comprehensive records for internal and external verification.
  • Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
  • Conduct field site product quality control and collaborate with worldwide quality teams to integrate feedback and implement quality enhancements.
  • Monitor implementation of solutions and preventive mechanisms to address and mitigate potential quality issues.
  • Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Relevant certifications and extensive experience in the Electrical & Electronic industry are considered.
  • Ideally 5 years of progressive quality control experience, specifically within the Electrical & Electronic industry and supplier quality management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control (QC) methodologies and extensive experience with quality assurance practices and issue analysis.
  • Strong independence, diligence, initiative, and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
  • Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia; familiarity with Taiwanese business culture is valuable. Proficiency in multiple languages is an advantage.
