Job Summary

Our Production team is in need of a Production Quality Engineer to collect quality metrics for products with an aim in practicing and executing design feedback for manufacturing, product quality improvement management, covering post-sales product quality and services support, and customer satisfaction. The Production Quality Engineer is primarily responsible for the quality functions covering supply chain and incoming quality, and in-house manufacturing quality, product reliability and performance quality. The individual will work with the senior management of the global production operations in establishing quality‑focus teams, mandating standard practices of quality principles, and will attend to the oversight responsibility to all global operations sites, cross‑functional departments.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Review and adhere to all company policies as outlined in the latest revision of the Employee Handbook and comply with all terms and conditions of applicable employment agreements.
• Manage comprehensive quality issue analysis and generate thorough Failure Analysis (FA) reports from a quality perspective.
• Demonstrate strong quality assurance capabilities, particularly in evaluating material data sheets and adherence to specified criteria.
• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and external suppliers to achieve and sustain superior product quality.
• Facilitate clear and effective communication across cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless information exchange and problem‑solving.
• Oversee the creation, collection, analysis, and secure traceability of quality data, maintaining comprehensive records for internal and external verification.
• Partner with cross‑functional teams to drive continuous quality improvement initiatives.
• Conduct field site product quality control and collaborate with worldwide quality teams to integrate feedback and implement quality enhancements.
• Monitor the implementation of solutions and preventative mechanisms to address and mitigate potential quality issues.
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistent quality processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), or a related field. Candidates with relevant certifications and extensive working experience in the Electrical & Electronic Industry will also be considered.
• Ideally the candidate has over 5 years of progressive quality control experience, specifically within the Electrical & Electronic Industry and supplier quality management.
• Demonstrated expertise in Quality Control (QC) methodologies and extensive experience with quality assurance practices and issue analysis.
• Possess strong independence, diligence, initiative, and a positive attitude.
• Exhibit excellent communication, coordination, and teamwork skills.
• Strong communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. As the role engages with stakeholders in Taiwan, familiarity with Taiwanese business culture is valuable. Proficiency in multiple languages will be considered an advantage.
