Job summary

LAVU TECH SOLUTIONS SDN. BHD. is seeking a seasoned network professional to design, implement and manage complex network and security systems across multi-tenant cloud environments.

You will lead hands-on deployments, document procedures, and transfer knowledge to the Network Operations team. The role requires expert-level configuration expertise, strong documentation skills, and the ability to support Tier 3 escalations and after-hours deployments.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of validated experience in managing, provisioning, and implementing network and network security technologies in a large globally diverse environment.
• Expert-level hands-on configuration of networking equipment, management tools and network analyzers.
• Ability to write detailed methods of procedure and maintain documentation including diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Provide network design, implementation strategies, migration plans, and project support for low to high level complexity projects.
• Test and evaluate network systems to identify problems and improve performance.
• Prepare business cases, deployment plans, and BOMs for leadership review.
• Hands-on configurations for new deployments.
• Prepare build documents and OPS procedures and transfer knowledge to the Network Operations team.

• Support standard designs from Network Engineering for infrastructure projects.
• Provide after-hours direct support for deployments not yet transitioned to Network Operations.
• Provide technical guidance for broader solutions and Tier 3 escalations.
• Maintain deep knowledge of network and cloud technologies and enable new integrations.

This role involves providing network design and implementation strategies, migration plans, and technical project support for low to high level complexity projects. You will test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements, and design, implement and manage network and security systems within secure multi-tenant cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.). The position includes hands‑on configuration for new deployments, preparation of build documents and operational support procedures, and knowledge transfer to the Network Operations team. You will provide direct support, including after hours, for new deployments and Tier 3 escalated operational issues, while maintaining deep technical knowledge of network and cloud technologies.

Key responsibilities

Provide network design and implementation strategies, migration plans, and technical project support for low to high level complexity projects

Test and evaluate network systems to eliminate problems and make improvements

Prepare Business Cases, financial analysis spreadsheets, deployment plans, and detailed bills of materials for presentation to Leadership

Perform hands‐on configurations for new deployments

Prepare Build documents and Operational Support procedures and perform knowledge transfer to the Network Operations team

Design, implement and manage network and security systems within secure multi‑tenant cloud environments

Work in support of implementing standard designs from the Network Engineering team for Infrastructure projects

Provide direct support, including after hours, for new deployments not yet transitioned to the Network Operation team

Provide technical guidance for broader solution delivery initiatives and support for Tier 3 escalated operational issues

Maintain deep technical knowledge of different Network and Cloud technologies and develop new technology integrations and solution capabilities

About you

5-7 years of validated experience in managing, provisioning, and implementing network and network security technologies in a large globally diverse environment

Expert-level hands‑on configuration of networking equipment, management tools and network analyzers

Ability to write detailed methods of procedure and maintain documentation including the creation of Visio/Lucid Charts diagrams

Expert knowledge of Layer 3 technologies, including IPv4, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, PIM, HSRP, DMVPN, NHRP, and GETVPN

Expert knowledge of Layer 2 technologies, including Spanning‑Tree, VLANs, QinQ, Dot1q

Operational experience with load‑balancing technologies and platforms such as Citrix, F5

Expert level of knowledge and experience in Checkpoint & Fortinet firewalls

Operational experience with Proxy, WAF & IPS technologies

Extensive experience working remotely in a self-managed environment
