B. Braun Medical Industries Penang is seeking a Senior Engineer/Assistant Manager - MES (Test) to lead commissioning, testing strategy, and deployment of MES solutions with the Global template team.

You will work hands-on with C#, Angular, MS SQL, and low-code platforms, manage SDLC through Azure DevOps and UIPath, and mentor project teams to deliver on time and within budget. The role requires a strong MES background, software testing expertise, and the ability to drive quality across

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/SE or related field.
• At least 3 years in MES development, testing and support across multi-tier architecture.
• Hands-on with UI, middleware, services and database layers.
• Experience managing full SDLC using Azure DevOps and UIPath.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning and technical implementation of MES solutions with global/template teams and local BMI.
• Define testing strategy, test cases and execution for MES templates and deployments.
• Develop automated test scripts and automate testing activities.
• Assist in acceptance tests and monitor technical setups during rollout.
• Validate business requirements through unit, integration and end-to-end tests.
• Present test status and quality at project/management levels.
• Lead large-scale engineering projects on the senior level, delivering on time and budget.
• As Senior Test Engineer, contribute to software development cycle as a developer when needed.

Your key responsibilities:

• Responsible for commissioning and technical implementation of process solutions in MES in collaboration with the Global template team, local B. Braun Medical Industries (BMI) team and the supplier Critical Manufacturing.
• Responsible for software testing strategy, test case and test execution for MES template, site customization project and MES deployment project.
• Responsible software functionality automated test, including tool selection, automated test script development and implementation.
• Assist in preparing and reviewing acceptance tests and help monitor technical setups during implementation and initial rollout.
• Responsible for validating business requirements and software qualification through appropriate testing methods, including unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, as applicable.
• Preparation, presentation and explanation of the test status and development quality at project and management level
• Work in the deployment project of the global MES team.- For more senior position level, manage all aspects of a large scale, complex, or significant engineering project, from start to finish, so that it is completed on time and within budget.
• Additional role for Senior Test Engineer, the position will participate in the software development cycle as software developer depending on the resource capabilities and capacity.

What you will bring to the team :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in MES system development, testing and support across multi tier architecture (UI, middleware, services, and database layers), with strong hands on skills in C#, Angular, MS SQL database development, and low code development platforms.
• Proven experience in software testing fields, including manual test execution and automated test.
• Hands on experience managing the full Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) using Azure DevOps and UIPath, including test plan, test case, test execution, automated test script.
