Job summary

Genpact Malaysia is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist in a hybrid role. You will process invoices, post transactions, and maintain AP accuracy per policy.

You will handle PO and Non-PO invoices, perform vendor reconciliations, manage payment cycles, and contribute to AP improvements while ensuring data integrity. Bahasa Indonesia is required for this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, commerce, economics, or finance or related field.
• Proficiency in AP processes, vendor management and data analytics.
• Experience with ERP systems and financial controls is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for AP records.
• Process invoices with PO / Non-PO; review invoices for payment approval.
• Ensure quality of AP processes; handle non-standard processes within the country.
• Verify extensions and totals on invoices; apply discounts where applicable.
• Prepare vouchers with invoice details per policies.
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle; GRIR reconciliations.

Job Description

• Calculating, posting business transactions, processing invoices, verifying financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records
• Process invoices with PO / Non‑PO
• Review invoices and requisitions for satisfactory payment approval
• Ensure quality of AP processes, handling of all not compliant and not standard processes within the country
• Verify and calculate all extensions and totals on invoices (calculating and taking discounts when applicable)
• Check vendor files for any previous payments and assign voucher numbers.

Prepare vouchers listing invoice number, date, vendor address, item description, amount and coding per accounting policies and procedures

• Identify & implement AP improvements
• Vendor reconciliation and manage vendor payments cycle, GRIR reconciliations, Vendor advance etc
