Job summary

Genpact in Malaysia is seeking a Sr. Associate - F&A (AP) to handle end-to-end invoice processing, validation, and timely pay runs while ensuring accuracy and compliance. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and leverage data insights to resolve issues efficiently.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level accounting/commerce/economics/finance degrees or higher
• Finance-related master's or professional certifications preferred
• Accounts Payable certifications and AML/CFE/SAP-related credentials are a plus
• Korean language proficiency required (intermediate B1)

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices and provide resolutions
• Validate supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice # and date
• Release invoices for payment timely and accurately
• Ensure pay runs are completed as agreed with the customer
• Follow up requisitions to resolve invoice issues per AP guidelines
• Suggest process improvements to reduce helpdesk queries
• Adhere to internal compliance policies and daily operations
• Conduct daily internal audits to ensure policy compliance

Responsibilities

• Review and process invoices along with providing the resolutions
• Review and validate basic essentials of valid invoice like supplier details, PO, bank account, invoice #, invoice date etc.
• Release the invoices for Payment timely and accurately
• Ensure that all pay run gets completed as agreed with the customer
• Follow up with requisitions (via calls/emails or tickets) to solve invoice issues as per the AP guideline
• Able to think through how to reduce helpdesk queries and help in process improvements
• Adhere the internal compliance policy and guideline established by the management on their daily operational activities
• Perform daily internal audit to ensure all Invoices / queries are handled as per the guidelines
