Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a SQL Developer to support database development, maintenance, and optimization to back airline operations.

You will collaborate with senior developers, QA, and infrastructure teams to ensure data integrity, performance, and secure deployments across development, testing, and production environments. Fresh graduates with strong SQL and basic cloud familiarity are welcome.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related discipline.
• 0-2 years of software/database development or integration experience desirable.
• Strong SQL fundamentals and ability to optimize queries.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize database objects (tables, procedures, functions, views, indexes, triggers).
• Support application integrations via XML, JSON, SOAP, REST.
• Perform unit and integration testing of database solutions.
• Prepare technical documentation and ensure coding standards and security practices.
• Collaborate with analysts, developers, QA, and infra teams to deliver reliable solutions.
