Job summary

Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a diligent SQA Technician to join its Krubong, Melaka facility.

You will perform incoming raw materials quality control and ensure only material meeting specifications is released to production. The role requires a Certificate or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and hands-on experience with measurement inspection, smart scope measurement, and programming.

• Incoming raw materials quality control to ensure materials meet specifications.
• Maintain material inspection status reports timely.
• Work with warehouse, production, engineering and suppliers to avoid production disruption.
• Possess strong analytical skills and a good team player.

Job Location:

Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia

This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area. You will experience different exciting local cultures in this historical state.

What You Will Be Doing

• Responsible for Incoming Raw Materials Quality Control & ensuring only materials meeting the specification requirements are allowed to be released to production.
• Establish, maintain, and update material inspection status report timely and accurately.
• Responsible in ensuring equipment calibration/maintenance program of the equipment in IQA lab are being carried out timely.
• To work closely with warehouse, production, engineering and suppliers in ensuring no disruption to production cause by material quality issue.

What You Will Bring Along

• Certificate or Diploma in Electrical / Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Experience in measurement inspection, smart scope measurement and program construction.
• Possess strong analytical skill and good team player.
