Job summary

Vishay Semiconductor Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is currently seeking applicants for a Maintenance Technician. Job Location: Krubong, Melaka, Malaysia. This position will be located at Krubong, Melaka in a vibrant industrial area.

You will perform PM activities, participate in equipment conversion and troubleshooting for automotive and non-automotive lines, and help establish continuous improvement projects aligned to organizational goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or related engineering fields.
• Minimum 3 years of industrial experience in direct or indirect equipment maintenance.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to read technical drawings and circuit diagrams.
• Broad technical knowledge and strong leadership skills.
• Understanding of semiconductor manufacturing is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform PM activities to support production maintenance.
• Perform equipment conversion and troubleshooting for automotive and non-automotive lines.
• Establish a team to work on continuous improvement projects aligned to organizational objectives.
• Plan, coordinate and implement all manufacturing equipment installation, maintenance and sustaining activities.
