About the role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sprayer to join our team at Armstrong Industries. This is a full-time position based in Bandar Baru Bangi, Selangor. As a Sprayer, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing and logistics operations, ensuring that products are coated, finished, or treated to the highest standards. Your precision and attention to detail will directly impact the quality of our output and contribute to our reputation for excellence in the industry.

Key responsibilities

Operate spray equipment and machinery to apply coatings, paint, or other finishes to products in accordance with specifications

Prepare work areas by protecting surrounding surfaces and equipment from overspray

Mix and prepare coating materials to achieve the correct consistency and colour as per technical requirements

Inspect materials and finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications

Monitor spray equipment to maintain optimal performance and identify any maintenance issues

Follow all health and safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times

Document work completed and maintain accurate records of production activities

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines

Clean and maintain spray equipment and work stations to ensure a safe and organised work environment

What we’re looking for

Proven experience as a Sprayer or in a similar coating or finishing role within manufacturing

Sound knowledge of spray equipment operation and maintenance

Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and work instructions

Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality and consistency

Good understanding of health and safety regulations and practices within manufacturing environments

Physical capability to stand for extended periods and work in a manufacturing setting

Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

Relevant certifications or qualifications in coating application or spray finishing are desirable
