Job summary

AXEL Health Group in Ipoh seeks a licensed Sport Physiotherapist to assess and treat musculoskeletal conditions and support movement, mobility, and daily function.

You will work closely with doctors and clinic staff to develop rehabilitation programs, educate patients on home exercises, and help restore optimal movement within a multidisciplinary care team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Sports Rehabilitation, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in sports injury management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in Malay and English; Mandarin and Cantonese are highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently and in a multidisciplinary team.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to support recovery goals.
• Educate patients on home exercises, injury prevention, and long-term recovery.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and clinical notes.
• Contribute to developing new rehab programs, protocols, and service lines as the centre expands.
• Collaborate with doctors, specialists, and clinic staff to coordinate patient care.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Physiotherapy, Sports Science, Sports Rehabilitation, or related rehabilitation field.
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, with a proven track record in sports injury management and musculoskeletal rehabilitation.
• Strong understanding of evidence‑based rehabilitation techniques.
• Professional fluency in spoken Malay and English. Mandarin and Cantonese are highly preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
