Job summary

Sunway Medical Centre Sdn Bhd is seeking a Physiotherapist to manage a clinical caseload, participate in on‑call emergency duties, and maintain compliant medical records. The role involves MDT collaboration, independent clinical decisions, and delivering evidence‑based physiotherapy with modern rehabilitation methods.

You will engage in ongoing professional development, contribute to in‑service training, and uphold patient‑centered care within a multidisciplinary team at our site in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Degree in Physiotherapy required.
• Fresh graduates and experienced physiotherapists welcome.
• Registered with Malaysian Physiotherapy Association.
• Registered with Malaysian Allied Health Professional Board.
• Evidence-based physiotherapy assessment and intervention skills.
• Patient‑oriented and able to work in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out patient assessments and treatments, maintaining responsibility for a clinical caseload.
• Participate in on‑call emergency duty rosters at the assigned site.
• Maintain up‑to‑date, accurate, and legally compliant medical records.
• Report deficiencies in working conditions, equipment, or procedures and ensure safety measures.
• Make independent clinical decisions and evaluate treatment outcomes with senior staff support.
• Participate in MDT meetings and case conferences, communicating with health and social care teams.
• Safely operate rehabilitation equipment and techniques, including Traction, electrotherapy, shockwave therapy, and high‑intensity laser.
• Engage in ongoing learning with evidence‑based practice and personal development objectives.
• Participate in in‑service training, peer reviews, induction and on‑call competency training.
• Maintain responsibility for personal professional development records and identify learning needs.

Job description

• Report any deficiencies in working conditions, equipment, or procedures that may pose risks, and ensure appropriate safety measures are taken.
• Make independent clinical decisions and evaluate treatment outcomes with senior staff support.
• Actively participate in MDT meetings and case conferences, ensuring effective communication of clinical information to health and social care teams.
• Safely operate and apply rehabilitation equipment and techniques, including Traction, electrotherapy, shockwave therapy, and High Intensity Laser.
• Actively engage in ongoing learning, maintaining up-to-date knowledge through evidence-based practice and completing personal development objectives with guidance from the line manager.
• Participate and contribute to in-service training programs, peer reviews, and complete induction and on-call competency training.
• Maintain responsibility for personal professional development records and identify individual learning needs.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Possess a Degree in Physiotherapy.
• Both fresh graduates and experience Physiotherapist are welcome to apply
